đź‘‘Introduction of Priya & Aaravđź‘‘

đź‘‘PRIYA MATHURđź‘‘

Some people grow up surrounded by love but Priya Mathur grew up learning how to survive without it.

At twenty-five, Priya is quiet, soft-spoken, and almost invisible in a crowded room. She avoids attention, speaks politely, and carries herself with calm maturity. To outsiders, she appears composed, graceful, and gentle. But beneath that silence lives a woman shaped by loneliness, emotional neglect, and years of silent endurance.

Priya is the daughter of Ravi Mathur, a sincere and fearless police officer who lost his life during a violent gang conflict while on duty. Priya was only four years old when he died—too young to understand sacrifice, bravery, or death itself. All she knew was that her father had gone to work one day and never came back.

His death left behind a silence that stayed with her forever.

After Ravi's death, Priya's mother, Mamatha Mathur, struggled to raise her alone. Years later, under pressure from her family and circumstances, Mamatha remarried Mohan Gupta, a wealthy construction businessman and widower with two children of his own:

Karan Gupta — older than Priya, confident and raised as the heir to the Gupta family. Kavya Gupta — two years younger than Priya, lively and deeply attached to her own family circle.

Priya was eight years old when her mother remarried and moved from Mumbai to Delhi. With that move, she slowly lost every connection to her father's side of the family—her grandparents, relatives, and the memories that once made her feel close to Ravi Mathur.

Mohan Gupta never wanted Priya to carry his surname. Strangely, Priya felt relieved by that decision. She never wanted to become Priya Gupta.

To herself, she would always remain Priya Ravi Mathur.

From the outside, Priya's life seemed privileged. She studied in prestigious schools alongside Karan and Kavya. Society admired Mohan Gupta for "accepting" another man's daughter into his home. People praised the Gupta family's generosity and sophistication.

But inside that house, Priya was never truly family.

Mohan never openly mistreated her, yet he never accepted her either. Her education and personal expenses were mostly paid through the inheritance left behind by her late father. In the Gupta household, Priya existed more like a responsibility than a daughter.

Family vacations never included her.
Celebrations happened around her, not with her.
Warmth reached everyone except her.

The only time Priya was treated like part of the family was when outsiders were watching. Mohan Gupta cared deeply about society's opinion and his public image. He wanted people to admire him, praise him, and see him as generous. As Priya grew older, she understood this truth painfully well.

The hardest loss, however, was not her father.

It was losing her mother little by little.

As years passed, Mamatha became deeply involved in her new family, new responsibilities, and new life. While trying to become the perfect wife and mother in the Gupta household, she slowly drifted away from the daughter who once depended entirely on her.

From a very young age, Priya learned an unforgettable truth:

She lived in that house...
but she did not belong there.

Yet despite everything, Priya never became bitter.

Her loneliness made her observant.
Her silence made her strong.
Her pain taught her how to survive without expecting love from anyone.

She learned to hide heartbreak behind calm smiles and quiet maturity. She became someone who forgave others too easily, especially when it came to herself.

And through all those lonely years, only one person truly stood beside her and the only person who truly understands Priya is Nidhi Sharma.

Nidhi became Priya's friend soon after Priya joined her new school in Delhi. While everyone else noticed Priya's silence, Nidhi noticed the pain hidden behind it.

Where Priya is quiet, reserved, and emotionally guarded, Nidhi is warm, outspoken, fearless, and fiercely protective. She cannot tolerate seeing Priya hurt, ignored, or taken for granted.

Nidhi never treated Priya with pity.

She treated her with love.

Over the years, their friendship became stronger than blood. Nidhi stood beside Priya during every silent breakdown, every lonely moment, and every wound nobody else cared enough to notice.

For Priya, Nidhi is not just a best friend.

She is the only person who ever made Priya feel like she truly mattered.

đź‘‘AARAV MITTALđź‘‘

Some men are born into power, but Aarav Mittal chose a different kind of battlefield.

At twenty-nine, Aarav Mittal is one of Mumbai's most respected criminal lawyers. Known for his sharp intellect, calm composure, and relentless dedication to justice, he has built a reputation that commands attention in courtrooms across the city. Judges respect him, opponents are wary of him, and clients trust him with the most difficult and high-profile cases.

But long before Aarav earned his place in the legal world, he was already born into one of the country's most influential families.

The Mittal family is synonymous with luxury, prestige, and trust in the gold and diamond industry. Decades ago, Aarav's grandfather, Kedarnath Mittal, laid the foundation of the family empire with a single Jewellery store built on honesty, craftsmanship, and reputation. What began as a modest establishment gradually expanded into one of the nation's most respected Jewellery brands, with branches spread across India and internationally.

Aarav's father, Vishal Mittal, transformed that foundation into a thriving business empire. Under his leadership, the Mittal name became a symbol of elegance, influence, and reliability in elite circles.

Alongside him stood Anita Mittal, Aarav's mother, a gifted Jewellery designer whose creativity and refined artistic vision gave the brand much of its exclusivity and identity.

At the heart of the family was Tulsi Mittal, the wise and respected matriarch whose quiet strength and values kept the family deeply connected despite their immense wealth and influence.

Aarav was not the only remarkable member of the Mittal family.

His elder brother, Akash Mittal, had long taken responsibility for managing the family's Mumbai operations. Practical, disciplined, and deeply devoted to the business, Akash carried the pressure of preserving the Mittal legacy with maturity and determination.

Akash's wife, Anjali Mittal, was a celebrated fashion designer admired for her elegant and sophisticated creations. Her designs were highly sought after in elite social circles, and her reputation in the fashion industry continued to rise with every passing year.

Together, Akash and Anjali had a three-year-old daughter, Ishita Mittal — the little heartbeat of the Mittal household. Her laughter filled the mansion with warmth, and every member of the family adored her, especially Aarav, who despite his demanding profession always made time for his beloved niece.

The youngest brother, Vihaan Mittal, had also joined the family business. Energetic, ambitious, and quick-witted, Vihaan worked closely with Akash while learning the responsibilities and complexities that came with carrying the Mittal name forward.

Despite their different personalities and responsibilities, the three brothers shared a bond that was unshakable. Success, pressure, and expectations never came before family.

Yet among them, Aarav always stood apart.

While the Mittals expected the next generation to strengthen the jewellery empire, Aarav found himself drawn toward something entirely different — the world of law.

Where his family saw diamonds and business deals, Aarav saw injustice, corruption, and the need for truth. He chose courtrooms over boardrooms and legal battles over luxury.

After graduating with distinction from one of the country's top law schools, Aarav entered the demanding and often ruthless field of criminal law.

The courtroom became his battlefield.

In that world, influence could not guarantee victory. Intelligence, preparation, strategy, and courage mattered far more than wealth or status.

The beginning of his journey was far from easy.

Many assumed Aarav would eventually abandon law and return to the comfort and security of the family empire. Others believed his success would come easily because of the powerful Mittal name.

But Aarav refused to rely on privilege.

He built his reputation from the ground up — one case at a time.

Long nights studying legal precedents.
Countless hours preparing arguments.
Relentless courtroom battles against powerful opponents.

Slowly, through discipline and determination, Aarav Mittal became one of Mumbai's most formidable criminal lawyers.

Today, he is known for handling some of the city's most sensitive and high-profile cases. His ability to dissect complicated evidence, expose hidden truths, and dismantle opposing arguments with calm precision has earned him immense respect throughout the legal community.

Despite his success and wealth, Aarav lives a disciplined and surprisingly simple life.

Every morning, he wakes up at 5:30.

Before the city fully awakens, Aarav is already out running through the quiet streets, breathing in the cold morning air. Running clears his mind. It prepares him for the battles waiting ahead.

After his workout, his mornings are spent reviewing legal briefs and case files with complete focus before heading to court.

Most evenings find him alone in his office, surrounded by stacks of documents, strategy notes, and evidence files, with a cup of strong black coffee beside him.

Aarav is calm, observant, and intensely focused.

He rarely raises his voice.
He rarely speaks unnecessarily.

But inside a courtroom, when Aarav Mittal speaks, every word carries weight.

To him, law is not simply a profession.

It is a responsibility.

And in a city where money, power, and influence often attempt to overpower justice, Aarav Mittal has become the man people turn to when the truth needs someone willing to fight for it.
